Children (in four age groups) and adults meet before worship on Sunday to study the Bible and other key issues of faith. Lectionary-based curriculum allows for a shared exploration of texts which guide each Sunday's service of worship, enabling an age-appropriate approach that informs and enriches the experience of church.

For Broadway's children, the classes also provide an opportunity to learn and practice social skills, and share a heritage of faith and values in a creative, nurturing setting under adult guidance. Sunday worship includes a teaching moment for Broadway's kindergarten and primary school children. Special study series, sometimes led by local seminary faculty, scholars and educators, supplement the regular Sunday morning classes.
