Membership at Broadway Presbyterian is open to anyone seeking a community of faith centered in Jesus Christ regardless of ethnic heritage, national origin, age, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, or socio-economic standing.

Broadway encourages full participation in all areas of the life of the congregation. Members are invited to support one another and the mission of Broadway to the neighborhood and the world with their talents, skills and financial gifts. Among other things, members provide leadership as deacons, trustees and elders, lead Sunday School and adult classes, serve as ushers, assist in planning or leading worship, and add to the music at Broadway.

New members are received at Broadway Presbyterian by baptism, reaffirmation of faith, or transfer of letter from a previous congregation. A rite of membership takes place at the Sunday service of worship. A series of introductory classes are offered to those considering membership.
