Parents of children of all ages meet the first Saturday of every other month at Broadway Presbyterian to explore parenting issues and gain skills to support families considering joining the church.

A five-minute presentation by Barbara Butler, a retired nursery school teacher, is followed by an hour-long open discussion. Recent meetings have discussed whining and how to stop it, getting to bed, getting dressed, and being an advocate for your child. Many helpful ideas and tips are shared.

Parents and children meet in the nursery at 5:30 for a dinner catered by the BCI catering program. After enjoying a delicious meal, the parents go to the pastor's study and the children stay in the nursery to sing and play under supervision.

On "Parent's Night Out" the first Saturday every other month, parents can drop their children off at the nursery between 5:30 and 9:00 pm and go out on a date by themselves.
