Niche is the Young Adult and Campus Ministry
of Broadway Presbyterian Church.
At niche we nurture students in their spiritual lives helping them to begin, renew, or continue their journey of faith. Students are encouraged to seek God, be open to experiencing God’s transforming power, and struggle with the tensions of a life of Christian faith.
The word niche originated in the 17th Century France, literally meaning recess or to make a nest. Ecologically, the word has been used to point to a position or role taken by a kind of organism within its community. It illuminates the environment one must be in to survive.
The Niche at Broadway Presbyterian Church strives to follow the will of God by:
- Nurturing spiritual search and growth in a relationship with a loving, living, life-giving God.
- Building an inclusive and compassionate community, breaking down the walls that divide us.
- Opening avenues of service as a part of the world-wide community of faith.
- Providing opportunities for friendship, fellowship, and fun
